Penguins Coach Tells PenguinPoop “Dont Worry… Tonight We’re Gonna Do It”

Thanks again to Champ Kind for another PenguinPoop exclusive:

PenguinPoop on the Street Reporter Champ Kind

(as long as it’s less than a block from his home)

Champ Kind ran into Pittburgh Penguin goalie coach Gilles Meloche this morning while on his way to the morning skate and had this to report:

I explained that I had recently watched a replay of last years game one of the finals on NHL network and I asked him how he would compare last years first two games to this year.  He responded  “We never touched the puck in those games last year.  I thought our time of possession was much better this year in both games. We just have to keep playing the same way and feel confident that the results will be there if we do “.

When I asked him if he thought we could’ve used a lucky bounce or two he replied. “Definitely

I told him that on behalf of the fans that we will be there and do whatever we can to help the team.   He was appreciative in his response and finished the conversation with “Don’t worry… tonight were gonna do it”
