Malkin recorded a hat trick last night in the Penguins victory over the streaking New York Islanders. This seems like a good thing. Malkin got a lucky bounce against Vancouver the other night to record his first goal since the 1st grade picnic. Maybe it was that kind of fortunate bounce that has allowed Geno to loosen his grip on the stick. Adding three goals in the following game can’t hurt. Let’s hope that Geno keeps going strong; especially with the dreaded Capitals coming into town tomorrow night.
Oh, and by the way, that Crosby guy added 2 goals and four assists.
