I honestly don’t know what to say. The Pens are badly outplaying the Canadiens with the exception of capitalizing on given chances. We lost: 3 shit goals to 1. As I am driving home from the pub, the only thing going through my mind is “I would trade all of our wingers right now for Ryan Malone”. The Pens need to have a strong net presence. Someone, anyone has to be willing to pay the price and park themselves in front of Halak. They need guys to drive the net and make things uncomfortable for Halak. They are not getting rebound opportunities and they are not screening the goalie like like they should. They need someone like……Ryan Malone.
Notes:
- Missed shots are once again becoming a huge problem. Maybe the Pens are gripping the stick to tight right now, but they are misfiring with scary consistency.
- Kudos to the Montreal fans for littering the ice on a penalty call in the third period. Montreal fans are considered by many to be the best and most knowledgeable fans around, but that is pathetic.
Let’s hope the Pens can overcome whatever voodoo it is that is preventing them from scoring and pound the Canadiens at home on Saturday.
I think we should make a sacrifice list of who should go in front of the net. People we don’t need on the team next year. I.e. – Fedetenko, Poni, Gerald (formerly master of the north)…
I thought we played well, however, at times a little off. Fleury (and I am not bashing, because I love) has to quit letting in the first goal and that play he did behind the net didn’t work. Obviously.
I think we were almost there yesterday. Glad to see Jordan Staal back. On “The Fan” this morning they were debating whether we should play him at 80% vs. others. I would take him at 5% over Poni and Fed. I thought he played well.
It is what it is!
GO PENZ!
may u receive a puck in your nuts ! go habs go
I fear that I jinxed them tonight by wearing the wrong sweater – on accident. I was wearing my lucky underwear though, and they usually work. Right now, I would trade said lucky underwear for Ryan Malone. Sweeten the deal, so to speak. I have been missing him for a long time now.
you could say that in spite of extensive help by the bastard refs (WHO SHOULD ALL HAVE RECEIVED BATTERIES IN THE FACE) the filthy Pens lost lol
In the words of a very young Kevin Bacon during the after math of the town of Fabers big parade ..”All is well…remain calm….all is well”.
i have never seen people throw shit on the ice like this BECAUSE WE IN MONTREAL HAVE NEVER EVER SEEN REFS CONSTANTLY GIVING US BOGUS PENALTIES AND NOT CALLING OBVIOUS PENALTIES FOR THE OTHER SIDE LIKE TONIGHT !!!!! THE REFS HAD TO BE TOLD BY SOMEONE (Bettman and his Toronto faggots who are pulling for Crosby) HIGH UP THAT THEY HAD TO HELP THE PENS,they tried that shit in the previous series, tonight was the worst i have ever seen,PITIFUL . garbage league, period. GO HABS GO LOL
Wow,
You guys even whine when you win.
hahahah – you are right! Canada is gonna have a great diving team next Olympics — they sure are getting their practice in!
look penguin all i am saying is that the fucking refs were out to get us , it was so obvious that everybody is talking about it , even people who hate Montreal !
I see you are one of the classy ones.
