Sidney Crosby Skates Again… And More Good News

Sidney Crosby skated for the 3rd time in four days and even though each time has only been 15 minutes, he has been symptom free.  “ I know it’s going to take time. From the way I feel out there and not doing anything for two and a half months, you feel it. “, Crosby Said “It’s nice to get out there. I don’t really have a plan for skating everyday or anything like that. I’m kind of just going with the progression and what they’re telling me. ”

There is more great news on the injury front.  Matt Niskanen (flu),  Arron Asham (concussion)  and Mike Comrie (hip surgery) all skated the full practice with the team.    Brooks Orpik (finger) has been skating with Eric Tangradi (concussion) and Nick Johnson.   Coach Bylsma said this about Orpik’s return: ” …four weeks would be next Wednesday. So hopefully sometime next week we’ll see him return to practice. But that depends on making sure he progresses with the injury”

The timing couldn’t be better for all of these returns.  The playoffs are a little less than a month away.
