This was once again a horrendous call by Shannahan & the NHL. You can see on the bench Berube and Laviolette discussing sending out some Flyers. Berube goes up to Simmonds and tells him what he wants him to do.
Simmonds skates all the way from the Flyers net across the blueline to Neal, and Hartnell makes a b-line to Crosby. Even the announcers say that the referees were idiots. Shannahan has lost his mind. Bylsma was fined & Adams was suspended for instigating. Insane.
