NHL leading scorer Sidney Crosby got hit in the face with a puck shot by his own teammate Brooks Orpik just minutes into the Pittsburgh Penguins matinee against the New York Islanders and did not ruturn to the ice. Crosby was seen crouched over bleeding but was able to leave the ice without help. It has been reported that Sidney Crosby has a broken jaw, lost several teeth and is out indefinitely.
