Pascal Dupuis was taken off of the ice last night in a stretcher after taking a puck to what appears to be the base of his neck. In front of the net, Dupuis is crosschecked to the ice by Alex Goligoski. While on all fours, he is hit in the back of the neck with a shot from Kris Letang.
Watching a player being removed from the ice on a stretcher is always a tough thing to watch. So far there are no updates on his status. Hopefully, he is okay.

Coach Johnston said Dupuis “looked fine” during the morning skate. He did not participate in the practice, just some conditioning drills.
Johnston also said that, “All signs are real positive this morning.”
There is also a chance he might be in the lineup tomorrow versus the Islanders.
