Book Signings: The Rise of the Pittsburgh Penguins 2009-2018

In the coming week, Rick Buker will hold not one but two book signings. A two-fer, you might say.

On Saturday, April 13, Rick’ll be available to sign copies of his latest book, The Rise of the Pittsburgh Penguins 2009-2018, at Pennsbury Pub & Grille from 7-9 PM. It’s a great chance to meet Rick and maybe even swap a favorite Penguins story or two.

Pennsbury Pub & Grille boasts a spirited and friendly atmosphere and plenty of hi-def TVs—not to mention a great selection of drinks and entrees. The Pub features oven-fresh dollar slices of pizza on game nights. It’s located in the borough of Pennsbury Village, west of the city and nestled between Robinson Township, Rosslyn Farms and Carnegie. It’s a stone’s throw from the Rosslyn Farms exit of the Parkway West (coming from town) and easily accessible from the Carnegie exit of Route 79. The address is 1049 Pennsbury Boulevard North, Pittsburgh, PA 15205, in case you’re getting directions from MapQuest or another online source.

Be sure to stop by.

On Monday, April 15, Rick will hold a second book signing at Wright’s Gym from 6-8 PM. Located in the newly renovated Crafton-Ingram Shopping Center in Crafton (also west of city), Wright’s is one of Pittsburgh’s premier fitness facilities. In addition to free weights, exercise machines and cardio equipment, Wright’s offers adult instructional classes in Krav Maga, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Copies of The Rise of the Pittsburgh Penguins will be on sale at each signing for $20 (cash only). Pick one up for yourself or that special Penguins fan in your life!
