Hey all. Just a quicky blurb to let our faithful PenguinPoop readers know that I’ll be a featured guest on KDKA-TV’s award winning Fan N’ation this Saturday night, February 19. The show airs at 7:30 pm.

For those who aren’t in the viewing area, the show can also be accessed via kdka.com.

I’ll be discussing, among other things, what inspired me as a Penguins fan to write…and eventually be blessed enough…to have three books published about the team. I also share my thoughts and recollections with the Fan N’ation crew regarding some of the pivotal moments, players and personalities that helped shape the course of the team’s remarkable history and led to five Stanley Cups.

  1. Rick
Congrats – that’s big time! Enjoy your moment in the sun. It’s well deserved.
Also, a quick comment. I think Simon should be in the running with
Jarry, Crosby and Guentzel as the Pen’s 2022 MVP. LOL
I didn’t just poke the bear I punched him. Can’t wait for a lengthy response.
    GO PENS

    1. Hey Mike if it were anyone but you, they would have, but I know you are no Simon fan either. If you look up the word soft in the dictionary you see a picture of him.. He is the poster child of the Penguins biggest problem – perimeter hockey.

      1. Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, – Dang I thought I had you. Simon couldn’t be gone soon enough for me!! He hasn’t
played horrible but he’s tying up a roster spot for a player with size & toughness.
My guy Deslauriers had two goals last night vs Canucks. They were smart to hang onto him.

  2. Way to go Rick…
I haven’t read your books, but your articles here on Penguin poop are awesome, even if nit everyone agrees.
Keep up the good work and congratulations.

  3. Congrats my friend, you get some fame.

Can I get an Autograph? Oh wait, I have one already in my book of yours that you signed.

Just trying to get some people jealous Rick. But seriously, Congrats and I’ll be watching. You better not say anything good about Simon.
