Penguins News: Bad Break for Penguins Jake

Not so good news Pittsburgh Penguins fans, GM Kyle Dubas announced that one of our precious few Goal scorers, Jake Guentzel will be sidelined for the start of the season.

“As Jake continued to increase the intensity of his preparation for the upcoming season, it was apparent that his ankle injury was not resolving in a way that was satisfactory to he or the Penguins,” Penguins general manager Kyle Dubas said Friday.

So, Guentzel had surgery and will be out for some time. Our top line Left Wing (LW) will be re-evaluated in 12 weeks.
