Pens Make It 5-0 on the Road

Man, did Cam Ward make a couple of amazing glove saves.  If he had not, the game most certainly would not have gone to overtime or a shootout.  The Pens definitely could have been due for a let down on this five game road trip, but they showed some good character and were able to pull out the shoot-out victory.

Notes:

• It was great to see Kunitz score the game winner in the shootout.  He has been the subject of much scrutiny about his lack of goal scoring.  Though, a guy playing on Crosby’s line should be able to contribute some goals, I hesitate to criticize his play.  He really makes some nice plays away from the puck or getting to loose pucks.  I think the goals will come.
