Maybe it’s a little late for Christmas, and a tad early for Valentine’s Day. But since we’ve been talking (writing) all around the subject in our comments, I thought I’d come right out and ask.
What would you, faithful PenguinPoop readers, do to improve our Penguins for another run at the Stanley Cup?
You can identify players you wish to trade or acquire. Or, you can address our needs in general terms (e.g., I’d like to acquire a physical defenseman).
Only one rule applies. If you suggest a specific trade, the deal must fit under the salary cap. According to capfriendly.com, the Pens have a cap hit of $77,009,264 with $0 left in cap space. So you can’t acquire Alex Ovechkin (just kidding) with a cap hit of $9.5 million for a player making $800,000.
Here’s your chance to play general manager. Don’t be shy. Let’s hear what you think!
